So has anyone one heard of these X-BOX "Red Rings of Death"? I hadn't but, boy, do I know all about them now. I had played a burnt disc in Drew's x-box because it's all we have for a DVD player right now. He asked me to take it out and put his NCAA game in while he was on the phone so I did. Suddenly, three red rings around the power button went off and Drew had a melt down. He started talking about these red rings of death and pretty much just went limp on the floor while the rings kept flashing. I really wish I had taken a picture of it! Anyway, he pulled it up online and apparently, it's a real term and means something is wrong with the hardware so he has to send it in to get fixed. I guess this takes up to 4 weeks and puts everyone out for the NCAA season cuz we save everything on our hard-drive. So, tell your husbands sorry! He actually wasn't mad at me cuz I didn't do anything wrong! I do know I won't be able to play burnt discs in his x-box again. Anyway...I just thought I'd send you a warning about the "red rings of death"!!

Wow, Jenny... I had heard rumors of such things existing! Dark day in the Yerg household. Glad to hear Drew was able to keep his cool! Since I have come to quite like your hubby, I am sad that he is sad. I will put a word into the x-box gods to bless your machine that once it is fixed- no more problems will exist.
wow. I can totally see Drew flopping around on the floor sobbing. Thats hilarious!
AHAH this is so funny I can totally understand because Bryan did this too a couple months ago when he left his on the desk with the cords hanging all over the place and Bryson tripped over them, crashing the precious X-box to the concrete floor. I seriously thought he was going to cry! And he got mad at me for "letting" Bryson trip over them! Really!?! I think this is just bordering obsessive.
